Essex Day 4 – Walton-on-the-Naze 10 May 2018

After some early morning rain the weather cleared up and it was actually very warm and pleasant in the sunshine. We parked along the sea front and walked along the coast path to The Naze which is a headland. The beach was lovely and much less busy than Clacton a mile or so along the coast. Lots of beach huts were dotted about. Crag walk has been constructed to prevent cliff erosion. Granite rocks were brought by barge from Norway. The average weight of each rock is 4 tonnes.
